Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:10-12 Lord, help me to be strong in you, to arm myself with your Word, stand firm and be on my guard at all times. Please keep reminding me that prayer and faith are my strongest weapons in this world, O God, that with you at my side, I can be victorious, and can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.  Romans 12:9-10 Thank you Lord, for the amazing privilege you have given us to be able to come to you anytime with our prayers. I bring all my cares and burdens and lay them at your feet, O God, I ask that you take care of them and fill me with your Spirit and strengthen my faith. Help me love sincerely and live as you did, love as you did and cling to what is good, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. Colossians 2:6-7 Thank you Jesus, my Savior for laying aside your crown for my soul, for coming to this world to save us and giving us hope, joy and peace. Help me stay rooted and grounded in the riches of your amazing and unfailing love, O Lord, strengthen my faith and fill me with your Spirit that I may live in you, I pray. Amen

In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord,  make me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:8 Almighty God, you alone are God over all the kingdoms of the earth, and I thank you for the peace and hope you have given me and your wonderful promises. I thank you because I can lay down and sleep in peace knowing that everything is in your precocious hands, O Lord, I know your love for me and my loved ones is more that I can imagine and you always hear our prayers. Help me dwell in the safety of your embrace, trusting in you with all my heart, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. Ephesians 2:4-5 Merciful Father, thank you for your amazing and great love for us, thank you for the hope you have given us in your Son, Jesus and for the forgiveness of our sins. I am thankful that I don't have to earn salvation and to know that it is by your grace that I have it. May the desire of my heart be to serve you, honor you, follow you  and trust in you each and every day, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. Ephesians 4:22-24 Father God, I ask you to help me put away anything in my life that is ungodly, anything that is unrighteous and does not please you. Help me, O Lord, to be a new creation, to be Christ-like and to walk according to your teachings, I pray in Jesus name.  Amen

Listen to advice and accept discipline, and at the end you will be counted among the wise. Proverbs 19:20 Merciful Lord, Creator of all, thank you for letting your Holy Spirit reprimand me when I am wrong, thank you for leading me to repentance and for your amazing love and grace. May I willingly accept when your Spirit disciplines me with a grateful heart and may I receive wisdom and understanding as I walk in righteousness before you I pray in Jesus' name.

This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10 Lord, you are my rock, my strength and my shield, a fortress of salvation and my heart trusts in your Holy Name. Bless me with your loving kindness, O God, and give me peace knowing that you have everything under your control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. Romans 8:9 Merciful Father, may my mind be governed by your Spirit that I may submit to your will and have joy and peace in my life. Live in me, O God, and teach me to live as your child in the realm of your Spirit, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. Psalm 91:11-12 Blessed be your name, O God, thank you for your promises and your protection, thank you for the hope you have given us and for your mercy. Though I may walk in the mist of a storm, though I may face many trials in this life, I know that you will deliver me, that you will hear me when I call. Merciful Lord, please send your your angels to lift me up and keep me safe, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life. Psalm 143:8 Father, I know that every morning I get to wake up is a blessing, every day is to be treasured and every breath I take is a gift from you. Teach me to put all my trust in you, for you are my God, O Lord, may your Spirit lead me on level ground and fill my life with the joy of your salvation, I pray in Jesus' precious name. Amen

This is what the Lord says—  your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God,  who teaches you what is best for you,  who directs you in the way you should go. Isaiah 48:17 Holy Lord, thank you for your loving grace, thank you for teaching me the way I should go. Only you know what is best for me so I leave everything in your Holy  hands,  my Redeemer, direct my path and teach me to trust in you and give you praise in all circumstances, I pray in Jesus name. Amen

“Blessed are those whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord will never count against them.”  Romans 4:7-8 Merciful and Mighty God in heaven, I thank you for covering all my sins, I thank you for forgiving me and loving me with your everlasting and amazing love. Please remind me that no matter what I have done, O God, you will always welcome be back into your loving arms, forgive me and will not count my sins against me, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. Ephesians 4:29 Merciful and forgiving Lord in heaven, thank you for forgiving all my sins, thank you for not giving up on me even though I keep failing you. Keep my lips from unrighteousness, O God, may I use them to worship and honor you, Father God, may I use them to build up others and not tear them now that they may see you in me, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

“God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.  James 4:6-8 Heavenly and merciful God, creator of the universe, have mercy on me, and help me draw near to you, help me resist the temptations of this world. Help me remember that nothing in this world compares to what awaits me in heaven, O Lord, and to be obedient to your will, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27  Merciful Lord, I humbly come to your throne of grace today to claim your promises, I want the peace that only you can give, the peace that this world could never give or understand. I ask that you fill me with your comfort and love, that I will not be afraid and trust that you will handle anything I need to face today. May my heart not be troubled as I put my worries and cares in your precious hands I pray, in Jesus' name. Amen

I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right and, I will not be shaken.  Psalm 16:8-10 Thank you Lord Almighty for your faithfulness and love, for not letting me out of your sight and guiding me on the right path. Fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand, O God, help me keep my eyes focused on you and walk in victory and without fear, I pray Jesus' name. Amen

Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.  Let all that you do be done with love.  1 Corinthians 16:13-14 Father of mercies and God of all comfort, help me be brave and strong, to have faith and trust in your everlasting power and love. Help me do everything I do with love, O Lord, and may the desire of my heart be to honor and walk in righteousness before you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

The Lord our God we will serve, and His voice we will obey! Joshua 24:24 Merciful Father in heaven, let me be still and quite enough to hear you whispering in my ear, let me hear your sweet voice and recognize it. Give me a willing heart to hear your words and obey, teach me, guide me and give me wisdom, O God, help me put all my trust in you and follow you with all of my heart, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You. Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name. Psalm 63:3-4 Loving and merciful Father in heaven, thank you for your everlasting love, thank you for your lovingkindness and compassion for me, a sinner. May my grateful and thankful heart leap with joy and praise you all day long, O God, may my lips praise you and give you honor and glory in all I do, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.Philippians 4:6-7  Thank you merciful Father, for the peace that only you can give, for your amazing promises and unconditional love. Please guard my heart and mind, fill my heart with peace and keep reminding me that no matter what I am going through, you will never leave me or forsake me, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:14-15 Heavenly Lord, I want to be a light unto this dark world, I want my light to shine before men that they may glorify your name, I want your love to reflect in my life and in everything I do. Help me not to let my light go out, O God, but fill it with your Spirit and amazing and unconditional love, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
