“All flesh is like grass  and all its glory like the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls, but the word of the Lord remains forever.” And this word is the good news that was preached to you. 1 Peter 1:22-25 Thank you merciful God, for reminding me that your Word, your promises and love will stand forever and everything else in this world will wither and die. Help me live for you, O Lord, help me share your word with others that they too may have joy, peace and love in their hearts, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of the heart. At that time each will receive their praise from God. 1 Corinthians 4:4-5 Father God, Creator of the universe, thank you for reminding me that you are the only one who should judge and I am so grateful that you are a merciful judge. May the motives of my heart be pure and right before your eyes, O Lord, may I bring you honor in all I do and receive your blessings, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.   Ephesians 4:22-24 Merciful Lord in heaven, thank you for the gift of salvation, for the hope and joy you have put in my heart. Help me put off my old self, O God, put your desires in my heart and renew my mind and spirit that I may walk in righteousness and holiness before you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

We wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. May your unfailing love be with us, LORD, even as we put our hope in you   Psalm 33: 20-22 Sovereign Lord, you are the beginning and the end, you are my help and my shield and my hope is in you. May you walk beside me and guide me, O God, and may your unfailing love be with me always as I wait in hope for you, I pray in Jesus name. Amen

Love one another deeply, from the heart. For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. 1 Peter 1:22-23 Father God, help us love each other with the same, deep love you have for us, help us be obedient children, holy and righteous in your eyes. Keep reminding us that we have been born again, O Lord, that we are a new creation and we should glorify you in all we do. May your enduring word live within our hearts and minster to us daily as we walk in obedience and in love, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness.  Isaiah 61:10 My soul rejoices in you, O Sovereign Lord, I thank you for the greatest gift of all, your Salvation through your Son, Jesus, my Savior. May my words be worship and my actions bring glory and praise to your name, I pray in Jesus' name.Amen

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16 Thank you Lord in heaven for reminding me that I can boldly approach your throne of grace with confidence in my time of need. I thank you for sending your Son Jesus to this world to show us the way, to show us your mercy and love and to teach us that we can come to you with all of our cares and needs in his Holy Name. May my life reflect the love I have for you and may I walk in the footsteps of my Savior, Jesus, I pray. Amen

As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him; for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust. Psalm 103:13-14 Praise you O Lord, Creator of all, you formed us in your image, you are compassionate, gracious and abounding in love and I thank you for your amazing love and protection. May your loving hand be upon me each and every day, O God, may you guide my path and give me wisdom as I follow you with all of my heart, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;  my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,  my shield and the horn of my salvation. He is my stronghold, my refuge and my savior.  2 Samuel 22:3 Thank you for being my rock, my fortress and my deliverer, O God, you are my strength and stronghold and I am so thankful to have you in my life. Father continue to strengthen me, to be my refuge in times of trouble and hold me in the palm of your precious and loving hands, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

I will declare that your love stands firm forever, that you have established your faithfulness in heaven itself. Psalm 89:2 Faithfulness surrounds you, the heavens praise your wonders, my Lord and my God. You are my glory and strength, you satisfy my heart with your unfailing love and no matter how long we have gone away, you always receive us back with abundant mercy and grace. May I boldly declare that your love stands firm forever, O God, may your faithfulness and blessings fall upon all those who love you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures. Proverbs 24:3-4 Lord Almighty, you who created the heavens and the earth, be the architect of my spiritual home, build within me a heart of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Bless me and fill me with your Spirit, O God, establish your kingdom in my heart and remind me to search for your beautiful and heavenly treasures  first. Be Lord of my household and fill it with your blessings, wisdom and love, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Romans 8:37 Thank you, Father God, for the amazing gift of salvation through your Son, Jesus, my Savior, who has given us victory. Thank you for your love for us, a love that will never end, that is unchanging and everlasting. Help me remember, O Lord, that nothing can separate me from your amazing love and that I can do all things with you at my side, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near.  Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. Isaiah 55:6-7 Sovereign and merciful Lord in heaven, help me walk uprightly in your sight, help me forsake any unrighteous ways and thoughts and forgive my sins. Give me the desire to seek you with all of my heart, O God, have mercy on me and let me enter into you loving peace, l pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone.  Colossians 3:12-13 Heavily Father, I thank you for your loving kindness, compassion, forgiveness and grace. Help me be more like you, clothe me with the same love you have for your children. Help me forgive as you do, be kind, humble and gentle as you are, O God, help me put away all bitterness and resentments, to let go of the past and focus on the future and your wonderful blessings, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:4 Father God, thank you for your grace, mercy and peace, thank you for amazing promises and everlasting love. Fill me with your Spirit, be with me in truth and love, O Lord, help me walk in obedience and faithfulness. Help me learn not to worry, but to remember that you are greater than any problem I may face, that you, who made the heavens and earth, are still in control in this world, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

You, Lord, are my lamp; the Lord turns my darkness into light.  With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall. 2 Samuel 22 :29-30 Merciful Lord, Thank you for being our light, thank you for turning our darkest moments into light, for giving us hope, strength and encouragement. Keep reminding me that with you at my side, all things are possible, O God, help me trust in you whenever I am facing difficult times, be my rock, my refuge, my salvation and give me victory, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

 But those who seek the Lord lack no good thing. Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord. Psalm 34:10-11 Almighty and loving Creator, I want to seek you with all of my heart, I want to hear your voice and be guided by your Spirit. Teach me your ways, O God, walk with me and bless me as I put all my trust in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.  For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.  Matthew 6:19-20-21 Thank you merciful and loving Father for reminding me that this world will pass away and all I will have left is what I have stored up in heaven. Help me be content with what you have blessed me with and give me the desire to seek heavenly treasures and eternal rewards, and not to seek the riches from this world, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.  1 Corinthians 15:58 Father God, Creator of all, thank you for the victory we have in Jesus, thank you for the promises that fill our hearts with hope, joy and peace. Let nothing move me, O Lord, strengthen me and help me stand firm regardless of my circumstances. May I continue to do your will and be a vessel for you and your kingdom, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

But you, LORD, are a shield around me,  my glory, the One who lifts my head high. I call out to the LORD, and he answers me from his holy mountain Psalm 3:3-4 May your shield surround me and give me peace knowing that you will sustain me, merciful and loving God. Thank you for always hearing my prayers, even my silent prayers, my Lord and Savior. Help me be a faithful and obedient servant, to bring you glory, praises and honor for all you have done for me, as I put all my trust in you, I pray in Jesus name. Amen

Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever;  wisdom and power are his. He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. Daniel 2:21 I thank and praise you, God Almighty, your kingdom is an eternal kingdom and your dominion endures forever. You give wisdom and knowledge to those who ask and all your ways are just. Be merciful to me, Father God, give me wisdom and knowledge and keep me under your loving care, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
