​​But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:33-34 Thank you Father God for being my refuge, my hope and my strength, for reminding me that I should not worry about tomorrow. Help me replace worry with faith, O Lord, to seek your kingdom and your righteousness and be a prayer warrior. May your peace that surpases all understanding fill my heart as I trust in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4 Thank you Lord for the incomparable gift of life we enjoy and for the breath that you lends us daily, thank you for being our Father and taking care of us. May we will live by faith and not by fear, O God, may we remember that you are greater than any problem we face in this world. May we walk in victory knowing that you are still on your throne and in control of this world and our lives, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. Revelation 3:20-21 Open my eyes and ears, Lord, that I may hear your voice, that I may open the door of my heart to you and the things of your heavenly kingdom. Come into my heart, O God, live in me and fill me with your Spirit, let me be attentive and obedience to your voice and your will for my life that I may sit at your side for eternity, I pray in Jesus' name. ​​For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. Hebrews 4:12 Lord, your word is truly living and powerful, it penetrates our hearts and minds and it applies to us today as much as it did to your children thousands of years ago. Give me hunger for your Word, O God, give me wisdom and understanding that I may use it to bring hope to others and not as a weapon against them. May your wonderful, powerful and living word be a guiding light in my daily walk with you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. Luke 6:27-29 Mighty and merciful God in heaven, we all have sinned against you and yet you are merciful to us, forgiving and gracious. Teach me to turn the other cheek, Father God, teach me to be humble, forgiving, gentle and loving. Give me an obedient and kind spirit and fill my heart with your love and mercy that my actions may reflect the love I have for you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. Psalm 62:5-8 Gracious Father in heaven, you are my refuge, my hope and my salvation, thank you for your mighty protection and love. Give me a desire for righteousness, O God, and help me trust and depend on you always no matter how things seem today, my mighty rock and refuge, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Galatians 5:22-23 Loving Father in heaven, I thank you for your amazing love and gentle Spirit. Fill my heart with your love, joy, peace and everything that is good and righteous in your eyes. Help me be the person you meant for me to be, O Lord, help me to be more like you. Help me be a reflection of your Spirit, full of kindness, gentleness and self-control, that others may see you in me, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

“I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is good for you and leads you along the paths you should follow. Oh, that you had listened to my commands! Then you would have had peace flowing like a gentle river and righteousness rolling over you like waves in the sea. Isaiah 48:17-18 Sovereign Lord, my Redeemer, help me to know your ways, teach me your paths, lead me in your truth, be my refuge, my fortress and shield in times of trouble. May I have peace flowing like a gentle river as I follow you and walk in you ways, O Lord, and surrender my will to you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​​And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Ephesians 6:18 Righteous, loving God in heaven. We humbly come to your throne of grace asking you to have mercy on us, on our Nation and our leaders and all your people. May your mercy and loving hand be upon us, may you guide our way and give us wisdom and understanding, O Lord. May we learn to fight all our battles on our knees, as we seek you with all our hearts. May our prayer be set before you like incense as we thank you and praise you in the name of Jesus, our loving Savior. Amen

But whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord ​makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image. 2 Corinthians 3:16-18 Glorious Father in heaven, all of creation is a reflection of your glory and love. Remind me that anything that reflects hatred, violence, greed and envy is not from you, because your creation reflects only your love. Change my heart and spirit, O Lord, make me more and more like you. May my life be a reflection of your love, power and your glory, may I seek to be a reflection of you in all that I am and all that I do, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Your unfailing love, O Lord, is as vast as the heavens; your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds. Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, your justice like the ocean depths. You care for people and animals alike, O Lord. How precious is your unfailing love, O God! Psalm 36:5-7 Father God, I will never be able to comprehend how merciful your love for us is, it never fails and it never runs out, you loved us before we even knew you and you care for everything and everyone you created. How precious indeed is your unfailing, unconditional love, O God, draw me close to you with loving kindness and pour out your unfailing love on me each morning you have blessed me with a new day of life that I may bring you honor and glory, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1 Father God, I bring all my burdens and fears and lay them at your feet, I know that I may not be able to handle my situation, but I know you can and will. Please walk beside me, guide me, strengthen my faith, O Lord, help me hold on strong through the trials and storms of life. Help me grow in faith, grace, love, knowledge, wisdom and understanding, and continue to be with me as I trust fully in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you. Psalm 5:11 Sovereign Lord, you are my refuge and strength, my place of safety; a very present help in times of trouble and I rejoice in your Holy Name. Spread your protection over me, O God, over my loved ones, fill me with your love and let me feel your arms around me that I may walk in victory without fear regardless of my circumstances, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10 Lord, you are my rock, my strength and my shield, a fortress of salvation and my heart trusts in your Holy Name. Bless me with your loving kindness, O God, keep in safe and close to you and give me peace knowing that you have everything under your control. May your joy give me strength to face whatever challenge comes my way, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen​

​​You, Lord, are my lamp; the Lord turns my darkness into light. With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall. 2 Samuel 22:29-30 Merciful Lord, Thank you for being our light, thank you for turning our darkest moments into light, for giving us hope, strength and encouragement. Keep reminding me that with you at my side, all things are possible, O God, help me trust in you whenever I am facing difficult times, be my rock, my refuge, my salvation and give me victory, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​​ For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. 1 Peter 3:10-12 Loving Father, I thank you for being so patient with me, I ask that you help me seek peace and pursue it. to love deeply, be compassionate, humble and obedient that I may inherit your blessings that can never perish, spoil or fade. Guard my lips, O Lord, and take away anything that may hinder my prayers so that you never turn your eyes away from me, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; love and faithfulness go before you Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, Lord. They rejoice in your name all day long; they celebrate your righteousness. Psalm 89:14-16 Father God, I acclaim you as my king and Lord and thank you for your promises, your love and faithfulness. You are my God, my Father, my Redeemer, my Healer, my Rock, my Strength and my Lord. I rejoice knowing that the very same God who created the universe is the same God I can claim as my Father and my King. May I walk in the light of your presence, O Lord, may you guide my steps and bring me close to you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you. Psalm 32:8 Dear heavenly Father, instruct me and teach me the way I should go, put your desires for me in my heart and help and guide me so that I can accomplish them. Keep your loving eye upon me, O God, bless and protect me as I bring you glory, praise and honor in everything I say and do and as I put all my hope and trust in your unfailing love, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever. Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. Psalm 145:1-3 I will exalt you, my God and King, I give you praise and honor and thank you for your mighty and wonderful works and abundant goodness. May I honor you and praise you in all I do, O Lord, may I walk faithfully, and obediently daily and put all my trust and hope in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Let the beloved of the Lord rest secure in him, for he shields him all day long, and the one the Lord loves rests between his shoulders. Deuteronomy 33:12 Most blessed and eternal God in heaven, you are my refuge and strength, my shield and my rock and I thank you for being my God and Father and for your eternal and unconditional love. Keep me safe in your everlasting and loving arms, O Lord, remind me all day long that I can rest and be at peace because you are holding me close to you and you are in control of everything in my life, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10 Faithful Lord in heaven, thank you for creating me in your image, thank you for bringing me into this world to enjoy life and live to serve and worship you. I am grateful to be your handiwork, I know you are not done with me yet, I ask that you continue to work on me, O God. Mold me into the person you created me to be and to do the work you prepared for me to do, so that I may become your masterpiece, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so.Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God. Romans 8:5-8 Father in heaven, you are the living God and Creator of all and I am your child; I want to live a life of peace, to be humble, caring, selfless and pleasing to you. Melt me, mold me, fill me with your love and Spirit and use me for your glory, O Lord. May my desires be your desires, and may my actions testify that I am a child of the living God, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. Ephesians 4:22-24 Father God, as we begin a new yer, I ask you to help me put away anything in my life that is ungodly, anything that is unrighteous and does not please you or bring you honor. Help me be a new creation, O Lord, to be Christ-like and to walk according to your ways and may your will and plans for my life prevail this year as I put all my trust in you, I pray in Jesus name. Amen
