My Daily Inspiration Bible Verses

You shall fear the Lord your God; you shall serve Him, and to Him you shall hold fast, and take oaths in His name. He is your praise, and He is your God, who has done for you these great and awesome things which your eyes have seen. Deuteronomy 10:20-21 Lord God of heaven, O great and awesome God, you who keep your covenant and mercy with those who love you and keep you commandments. Thank you for being my God, for all of the awesome things you have done in my life, for your great mercy and compassion, for guiding me and leading me daily where you want me to go. Continue to bless me and be with me, O Lord, may your ears be attentive to my prayers, I pray in Jesus name. Amen

​ “Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever;   wisdom and power are his.  He changes times and seasons;  he deposes kings and raises up others.  He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.  Daniel 2:21 I thank and praise you, God Almighty, your kingdom is an eternal kingdom and your dominion endures forever . You give wisdom and knowledge to those who ask and all your ways are just. Be merciful to me, Father God, give me wisdom, understanding and knowledge and keep me under your care as I put everything in your loving hands, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 Heavenly and merciful Father, blessed be your name in all of the earth, thank you so much for your faithfulness and for your promises to guard and protect me. Direct my heart into your love and your presence, O Lord, guard my heart, mind and soul and do not let the evil one defeat me. May your loving grace and peace fill my heart as I put all my trust in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​​Light shines on the righteous and joy on the upright in heart. Rejoice in the Lord, you who are righteous, and praise his holy name. Psalm 97:11-12 Heavenly Lord, Creator of all, I rejoice in you and give you praise for all the marvelous things you have done in my life. You guard the lives of your faithful ones, you have compassion on those who love you and do mighty wonders for them. May the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O Lord, may your light shine on me and keep my heart upright before you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​Look upon me and be merciful to me, As Your custom is toward those who love Your name. Direct my steps by Your word, And let no iniquity have dominion over me. Redeem me from the oppression of man, That I may keep Your precepts. Make Your face shine upon Your servant, And teach me Your statutes. Psalm 119:32-34 Merciful Father in heaven, direct my steps by your word and let me cling to your testimonies. Teach me your ways, O Lord, and give me understanding. May your mercies come to me and your salvation according to your word, let no iniquity have dominion over me. May your face shine upon me each day as I seek your precepts and keep my heart blameless in your sight, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: he will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him. Psalm 37:5-7 Merciful Lord, you are in control of everything, you are full of mercy, compassion and love. I ask you, O God, to help me commit my ways to you, to wait patiently for your will to be done in my life, to be still and trust in you with all of my heart, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you. Psalm 32:8 Dear heavenly Father, instruct me and teach me the way I should go, put your desires for me in my heart and help me be the person you meant for me to be. Keep your loving eye on me, O God, as I give you glory, praise and honor in everything I do and as I put all my hope and trust in your unfailing love, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. Isaiah 1:18 Merciful and Mighty God in heaven, thank you for washing away my sins and making them white as snow, thank you for being so patient with me and loving me with a father's love. Help me to do what is right in your eyes, O Lord, to seek justice, to be faithful, willing and obedient as you continue to guide me, lead me and bless me, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. May your unfailing love be with us, Lord, even as we put our hope in you. Psalm 33:20-22 Sovereign Lord, you are God my Savior, my shield and my hope, thank you for your eternal encouragement and your living hope. May your unfailing love fill my heart with all joy and overflow with peace, O God, strengthen me in every good deed and word as I put all my hope in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

The Mighty One, God, the Lord, speaks and summons the earth from the rising of the sun to where it sets. Psalm 50:1 Mighty God in heaven, you are my stronghold in times of trouble and I am thankful that I can take refuge in the shadow of your mighty wings and thankful for your great compassion and love. Help me trust in your unfailing love, O Lord, strengthen my faith and keep reminding me that you are mighty and everything is under your control, from the rising of the sun to where it sets, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Great and mighty God, whose name is the LORD Almighty, great are your purposes and mighty are your deeds. Your eyes are open to the ways of all mankind; you reward each person according to their conduct and as their deeds deserve. Jeremiah 32:18-19 Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and love and great are your deeds. You are my rock, my strength and my shield, a fortress of salvation. Help me remember that you see the ways of all mankind and nothing in this world is a surprise to you. Bless me, guide me and be patient with me, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Set a guard over my mouth,  Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips.  Do not let my heart be drawn to what is evil.  Psalm 141:3-4 Father God, set your guard over my mouth, help me speak gentle and kind words,  words that build up rather than tear down, let them be sweet to the soul and healing to the bones. Seal my lips from all unrighteousness, O God, remind me that I will be accountable  for every word that comes out of my mouth.  Don't let me be drawn to what is evil in your eyes, but draw me close to you  and never let me go, I pray in Jesus' name.  Amen

Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:6 Father God, thank you for caring for me and loving me with your unconditional love.I humbly come to your throne of grace to give you all my cares, struggles, hurts, pains, disappointments, worries and anxieties, and I cast them at your feet. I ask that you take them away from me, O Lord, that you strengthen me and fill me with courage to face whatever comes my way. May I stand firm in faith and be at peace knowing that everything is in your loving hands and you will take care of them according to your holy will, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2 Lord, renew my mind and heart today, help me put away any selfishness, anger, bitterness and anything that will keep me away from you. May your loving Spirit transform me into the person you want me to be, O God, and may your perfect will be done in my life, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Merciful Father, I know you have not promised us an easy life, I know that we live in a fallen world, full of sin and suffering. I am so thankful that I can claim your promises to be with us through the storms of life and when I am in the middle of a storm, I ask that you build my faith, teach me to trust in you and worship you through the storm. Thank you for reminding me how much I need you in my life every day, O God, show me your power, mercy, grace and comfort that I may us the comfort I receive from you to comfort others and bring them into your Kingdom, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber. Psalm 121:1-3 I lift up my eyes to you my Lord, the maker of heaven and earth, where I know my help comes from.  You never slumber, you are always at work in our lives, even when we cannot see your plans. Please continue to watch over me, O Lord, continue to walk by my side and lift me up, as I bring you glory and honor in all I do, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

All a person’s ways seem pure to them, but motives are weighed by the Lord. Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. The Lord works out everything to its proper end. Proverbs 16:2-4 Mighty and loving God in heaven, I know I can make all the plans I want, but without your help and blessings they will not succeed. I commit everything I do to you, O Lord, I ask that you bless me as I put my trust in you. Give me a pure and clean heart, lead me the way I should go and teach me your will, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. Ecclesiastes 3:11-12 My God and my King, I thank you for making everything beautiful in your perfect time, for your amazing and unfailing love, for your faithfulness and loving kindness. Help me seek you earnestly with all of my heart, O Lord, to do good while I live and thirst for righteousness that I may rejoice in the hope of the eternal life you have promised us, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​​But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations. Psalm 33:11 Heavenly Lord, your word is right and true; you are faithful in all you do, you love righteousness and justice; the earth is full of your unfailing love and your plans for each of us stand firm forever. May you bless all those whose hope is in your unfailing love, those who rejoice, believe and trust in your holy name, O God. May your unfailing love be with us as we put our hope in you and may your plans for our lives stand firm forever, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

​ ​For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. Jeremiah 29:11-12 Merciful and loving Father in heaven, help me seek you with all my heart, help me surrender my life before you and let you guide my way. You know all my plans and desire of my heart, but I ask that your plans for my life will prevail, O God, for I know your plans are better than I could ever imagine, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”. Matthew 21:21-22 Lord, strengthen my faith and help me trust in you always regardless of the circumstances around me, keep reminding me that you are bigger than any problem or challenge I may face. Help me remember that any plans I make for myself can be possible with your help through faith and prayer, O God, but also remember that you always know what is best for me and I need to put everything in your hands and just trust in you with all my heart, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good. 1 Peter 2:2 Thank you Father God, for your love and mercy, for another day of life, for a new year and new opportunities to serve you. Help me crave pure spiritual milk, O Lord, that I may grow in faith, in wisdom and in love for you and your Word. May everything I say and do reflect the love I have for you, may I bring honor and glory to your Holy Name in everything I say or do, I pray in Jesus, my Lord and Savior's name, I pray. Amen.
