My Daily Inspiration Bible Verses

  The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:30-31 Merciful and loving father in heaven, I thank you for your amazing and eternal love, for your patience and mercy. Help me love others unconditionally as you do, help me remember that we are all your children and that you love them as much as you love me. Help me love and obey you with all my heart, mind and soul that I may be a reflection of your love with my actions and not just words, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

  “God opposes the proud but favors the humble.”  So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God,  and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.  1 Peter 5:5 Merciful and forgiving Lord, blessed be your Name in all of the earth, th ank you for being my God and my King,  thank you for allowing me another day of life to serve and worship you.  Teach me to be humble, to turn away from arrogance, O God,  help me be gentle, patient and loving as you are.  May my actions help lead others to your throne of grace, I pray in Jesus' name.  Amen

  Look at the birds of the air,  for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns;  yet your heavenly Father feeds them.  Are you not of more value than they?  Matthew 6:26 Mighty and loving God in heaven, keep reminding me not to worry about tomorrow because you are in control of everything  and I am more valuable to you than the birds you feed and take care of daily. Thank you for reminding methat each and every day you will supply all my needs as I seek your kingdom passionately with all my heart, O Lord, and trust that everything will turn out according to your purpose and will for my life, I pray in Jesus' name.  Amen

  This is love, that we walk according to His commandments.  This is the commandment, that as you have heard from the beginning,  you should walk in it.  2 John 1:6 God of mercy and love, help me walk in obedience to your will and your commandments,  help me stay close to you and honor you in all I say and do.  Help me walk the walk you have set before me, not just in words, but in actions, O Lord,  let me feel you walking right beside me and fill me with your everlasting love, I pray in Jesus' name.  Amen

  Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, Jeremiah 29:12-13  Thank you Father God for hearing my prayers, for being attentive to my needs and stretching out your mighty hand to save me when I call. I will seek you, with all my heart I will praise your name for your unfailing love and your faithfulness, your love, Lord, endures forever. May I humbly walk before you today, O God, and may I bring honor and glory to your name, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Turn from evil and do good; then you will dwell in the land forever. For the Lord loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. Psalm 37:27-28 Father God, fill me with your Spirit and help me get rid of anything unrighteous in my life that will take me away from you. Put your laws and desires in my heart, O Lord, may my feet not slip, may my lips not sin against you that I may walk in righteousness before you and dwell in your kingdom forever, I pray in Jesus name. Amen

  The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned. You have enlarged the nation and increased their joy; they rejoice before you as people rejoice at the harvest. Isaiah 9:2-3 Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, I thank you for being a light to this dark world, for letting me see your glory, your salvation and for giving me hope for a future because you are the light of hope. Help me walk in the light of Jesus, who came as light in the darkness to free us from spiritual oppression, to remind us when things seem hopeless that you are at work and we can trust you because you will bring victory, hope and comfort to those who love and trust in you, I pray in Jesus name. Amen

  ​ For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father,  the Son, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.  1 John 5:7 Thank you Father for being my God and my loving Father, thank you for sending your Son, Jesus, to us that we may have eternal life. Thank you Lord for sending us your Holy Spirit to help us get through each day,  to give us strength and comfort when we needed. May our hearts be filled with your Spirit and your goodness, O God, may we bring you honor and glory in all we do, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

  For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.  So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord.  And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him  as we are changed into his glorious image.  2 Corinthians 3:17-18 Glorious Father in heaven, all of creation is a reflection of your amazing glory and love.  Remind me that anything that reflects hatred, violence, greed and envy is not from you.    Change my heart and spirit, O Lord, make me more and more like you each day  and change me into your glorious image .  May my desire be to be a reflection of your love in all that I am and all that I do, I pray in Jesus' name.  Amen

  You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. Psalm 16:11 Thank you merciful and loving God in heaven for the joy of your salvation, for your abundant blessing and strength. Lead me to the path I should take, that I may bring you honor to you and be a blessing to others, O Lord, I look forward to enjoying eternal pleasure at your side, without any more pain, sorrow or fears, help me keep my eyes focused on you, your promises, and your heavenly treasures,  I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

  And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth. 2 Timothy 2:24-25 Creator of all, I humbly come to you today asking you to change my heart, to give me a gentle and noble heart. I ask that you fill me with your Spirit, that I may walk in humility, walk in love and be your humble servant. Teach me to be patient, O God, seal my lips when they need to be sealed and but your words in my mouth when you want me to speak that I may be used as an instrument for your kingdom, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

  Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” John 4:23-24    Father God, I thank you for rescuing me, a sinner, I humbly come to your throne of grace, with a sincere heart, full of gratitude for all you have done in my life. You are full of beauty, splendor, power and mercy and I want to worship you with all of my heart, mind, body and soul, through my daily prayers through acts of kindness, gratitude, pure thoughts, humility, patience and obedience to your will. May my heart be inclined toward you,with full submission to your will that I may worship you in spirit and in truth, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

  Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; love and faithfulness go before you,' Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, Lord. They rejoice in your name all day long; they celebrate your righteousness. Psalm 89:14-16 Father God, I acclaim you as my king and Lord and thank you for your promises, your love and faithfulness. You are my God, my Father, my Redeemer, my Healer, my Rock, my Strength and my Lord. I rejoice knowing that the very same God who created the universe is the same God I can claim as my Father and my King. May I walk in the light of your presence, O Lord, may you guide my steps and bring me closer to you as I put all my trust in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

  “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me. Matthew 18:3-5     Father in heaven, help me focus on you in a childlike manner, realizing I am dependent on you  for everything that matters in this world, doubting in nothing, but believing your Word and promises.  Help me to be humble and surrender my will to you, O Lord, that I may be able to grow  in faith and strengthen my walk with you as I seek you every day, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 Father God, you are the God of peace, merciful, kind and faithful, I thank you for being my God, for loving me so much and for hearing my prayers. I ask that you sanctify me, O Lord, I ask that you keep me blameless in your sight,  that you help me walk the path of righteousness that leads to your kingdom, I pray in Jesus' name.  Amen

  “‘For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I myself will search for my sheep and look after them. As a shepherd looks after his scattered flock when he is with them, so will I look after my sheep. Ezekiel 34:11-12 Father God, thank you for being our good shepherd, for looking out for us and keeping us under your loving care. Guide our paths, O Lord, let us rest in the arms of your great mercy, take our sins away and cleanse us from unrighteousness. May we hear your voice and follow you each and everyday, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

  He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. John 1:11-12 Loving Father in heaven, you have brought salvation, hope, joy and peace to my life, and I thank you with all my heart. Before the beginning of time, you chose me to receive eternal life at your side. You did not choose me because I was holy or good, but so that I might become holy and good. Help me live as a child of the Most High God, reflecting your holiness, righteousness, mercy and love in all I say and do, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

  Lord, we show our trust in you by obeying your laws; our heart’s desire is to glorify your name. In the night I search for you; in the morning I earnestly seek you. Isaiah 26:8-9 Sovereign Lord, you are Lord of Heaven’s Armies, you are our wonderful teacher, counselor, protector, Redeemer and our loving Father. I stand in awe of your wisdom, mercy and grace, I seek you with all of my heart and my desire is to be obedient to your will. Let your life-giving light fall upon us, O God, send your mighty army of angels to encamp around us and keep us safe as we seek you daily with all of our hearts, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

  Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love. Ephesians 4:14-15 Mighty Lord in heaven, I am so thankful to be your child, help me be filled with the fruit of your salvation, to grow in faith, in your love and to experience the joy and peace that only you can give. Let your Spirit renew my heart, O God, that my whole body will be healthy and fruitful for your kingdom, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

  Please, Lord, please save us. Please, Lord, please give us success. Bless the one who comes in the name of the Lord. We bless you from the house of the Lord. The Lord is God, shining upon us. Psalm 118:25-27 Your love endures forever, O Lord, and I thank you for all you have done me me, thank you for your unconditional love and the comfort that you give us though your Word. Keep reminding me, Father, that no matter what I am going through, you will never leave or forsake me. Keep shining upon us, keep hearing our prayers, save us and keep us in your loving care, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

  And do not bring sorrow to God’s Holy Spirit by the way you live. Remember, he has identified you as his own, guaranteeing that you will be saved on the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Ephesians 4:30-31 Righteous and holy God in heaven, help me get rid of my old sinful nature and former way of life, cleanse me from all unrighteousness and anything that would grieve your Spirit. May your Spirit renew my thoughts and desires, and make me a new creation that is not controlled by anger, malice, resentments or evil behavior. Keep reminding me that I am your child, and have been redeemed, and that I will stand in your presence one day, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
