the Lord will guard you from the evil one

But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3

Heavenly and merciful Father, blessed be your name in all of the earth, thank you for being faithful and for your faithful promises to guard and protect us. Keep protecting us, our loved ones, especially our children as they begin a new school year, O God. Guide them, direct their path and keep all evil doers away from them, guard their hearts, minds and souls. May your loving grace and peace fill our heart as we put our trust in you, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
