Trials of Life


Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. James 1:12

We were never promised a life without trials or pain, but we need to thank God because we can have the victory through Jesus our Lord, though we walk in the mist of trials we never walk alone. God has given us His Word to guide us and the privilege of coming to Him with all of our burdens and petitions. He has also assured us that no trial will test us beyond our ability to bear it, and he will provide a way out. We need to trust in Him regardless of our situation, trust that He is working things out for us, even if we can't see it. Stand firm in your faith and you will receive His blessings as He has promised.
Father God, sometimes things look impossible and can feel unbearable, but I know that nothing happens in my life without going through your hands first. Help me trust in you always, O Lord, help me walk in victory, trusting that I am in your hands and you will never leave me, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
