For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith


For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—  not by works, so that no one can boast.  For we are God’s handiwork created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:8-10

 Thank you, O merciful Lord in heaven, for your amazing gift of salvation, for sending your Son, Jesus, to this earth so that we may have eternal  life. For showing us your great mercy and grace through Jesus, my Lord and Savior. May I walk the path you have prepared in advance before me and may I do good works for your glory, I pray in Jesus' name.  Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
