Knock and the door will be opened to you

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Matthew 7:7-8

Merciful God, thank you for your amazing and unconditional love, thank you for teaching me that I can come boldly to your throne of grace, that I may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. You are the living God, the God of wonders and impossibilities, and you are my loving Father in heaven, teach me to ask according to your perfect will and timing, O Lord, teach me to pray with thanksgiving and rest in the knowledge that you are working all things together for my good, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
