Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people he chose for his inheritance. From heaven the Lord looks down and sees all mankind; from his dwelling place he watches all who live on earth— he who forms the hearts of all who considers everything they do. Psalm 33:12-15

Almighty and Blessed God, you are full of mercy and compassion, you are always ready to respond to our cries out of the abundance of your divine wisdom, we ask that you heal this great nation. We know that nothing is impossible for you, and no problem in this world is too great for you. Distress, uncertainty, division and hardship surround our nation. Help us to be faithful and fervent in prayer, remind us of our responsibility to humble ourselves before you, O God, to walk in obedience to your Holy Word and walk in love as Jesus did. Bless us, heal us, unite us and protect us, as we put all our faith in you in Jesus' Holy's name. Amen!

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
