The Lord is my strength and my shield

The Lord is my strength and my shield;

my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.

My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.

Psalm 28:6-7

Praise be to you, Lord God of heaven and Earth, Creator of the universe, I am so thankful and privileged to know you and have you in my life.

Father, continue to strengthen my faith, to be my refuge in times of trouble, be my shield and protect me from the evil one

and from anything that would harm me or take me away from you.

Hold me in the palm of your precious and loving hands and carry me forever, I pray in Jesus' name.

My thoughts toward you are countless as the sand on the seashore

How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you. Psalm 139:17-18 Father God, I can't even begin to comprehend that your thoughts toward me outnumber the grains of sand on the seashore, that your thoughts towards me are not thoughts of condemnation or of judgement, but thoughts of absolute love, and all you want to do is to bless me abundantly. Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
