The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise,

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, 
as some understand slowness. 
Instead he is patient with you,
not wanting anyone to perish,
but everyone to come to repentance. 
2 Peter 3:9 

Father God, I thank you for being patient, for wanting each and everyone to be saved.
Thank you for your amazing love and promises, for your lovingkindness and grace.
Keep working in our hearts O God, as we trust in you and worship your holy name, I pray in Jesus' name. 
Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
