Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation

“Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. 

The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” 

Matthew 26:41

Mighty God in heaven, my spirit is always willing, but my flesh is very weak. 

I need you in my life, I need your strength and your Spirit to fill me and remind me

 that prayer makes all the difference between my battles and victory. 

Help me fight every battle on my knees, O Lord, to put everything in your holy hands

 and always trust in you, I pray in Jesus' name.

My thoughts toward you are countless as the sand on the seashore

How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you. Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
