But seek ye first the kingdom of God

 

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;
and all these things shall be added unto you.
Take therefore no thought for the morrow:
for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself.
Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Matthew 6:33-34


Mighty Lord, you have been so good to me, a sinner, I know I don't deserve you, but I thank you for never ending love.
I thank you for reminding me to seek your kingdom first in all I do, and all things will be added in my life and not to worry about tomorrow.
Thank you for knowing what is best for me and my life, O God, fill me with your Holy Spirit as I surrender all to you, Father.
Give me the desire to seek you daily with my whole heart and be the person you meant for me to be, help me be yours, I pray in Jesus' name.
Amen

Thank the Lord, for He is good

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
