By his wounds you have been healed


 He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” 1 Peter 2:24


My most loving, kind and merciful Lord, thank you for bearing my sins on the cross, thank you for loving me so much that you gave your life as a living sacrifice. I know that nothing I will ever go through can compare to the price you paid at Calvary, O Lord Jesus, help me to discern your will for my life, to live in righteousness in your presence, and share the good news of your kingdom with others that they too will have the joy of your salvation, I pray in your precious name. Amen

Lord will fight for you

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14 Almighty God in heaven, thank you for reminding us that no matter what impossibilities we face, or how hopeless things may appear, you are always faithful to lead us to victory. Remind us that it does not mean that our struggles will be without pain or fear, but it does mean that we can trust in you to deliver us, O Lord and that our victory will not by our strength, but by your mighty power because you are our Warrior and victorious King. Help us stand still and trust in you with all or our hearts and remember you are always in control, I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
